Marathon Go Championship Complete

The 5th Cho Chikun Judan Cup 42.195 Marathon Go Championship is over. I didn't play anywhere near as much as I had hoped and I finished up in 68th place with 72 games played. The top player actually managed to play 652 games in 42 days. Yikes! High-kyu buddy Zero9090 did us all proud by finishing in 16th place with 207 games. If he had not played so often on KGS during the same time he certainly would have placed higher.

I look forward to next year's event!

At 15.5 games per day, I might need to be independently wealthy, single and childless (perhaps even all three). I don't know that I could put myself in that situation.

Zero9090 certainly did a great job! I was thinking that his time on KGS would erode his performance but he seems to be playing to improve.

Yeah, 09090 did really well. He's definitely improving but I don't know how...have you seen how quickly he plays?! Woo. To be young again. ;)
